Welcome to My Powwow Trail
Over the years I have been to many Native American Powwows, festivals and a couple of re-enactments. My first powwow pictures were taken with one of those
Canon or Kodak 110 cameras. Since then I have used a Canon 35mm with zoom lens as well as a Pentax with zoom and with all of them of course you have to send out the film to be developed, wait until it comes back and then stuff the pictures in an album. Luckily with the technological age you now have digital and I must say it is so much easier.
I now use a Nikon D3000 and I love it! Now instead of sending out film I can download straight from the camera. Of course I am still old school when it comes to tucking away my pictures in albums so a click here and a download there and I can have Wal-Mart print up my pics so I file them away.
This site is mainly a gallery of the pictures I have taken over the years. You won't see the 110 camera photos because I am not that old school and I don't have the patience for scanning. I have also added a blog to this site so you can add comments and feedback if you choose. There are also a couple of pages of Native American crafts and regalia that I have made as well as jewelry that I currently create (see www.redfeathercreations.com).
I have enjoyed taking these pictures so I hope you enjoy looking at them. Thanks!
